Who we are
Ferrera Family Farmacy is a Montana Based small business that focuses on using functional mushrooms to provide health benefits for anyone looking for alternative ways to feel healthier. Dean started learning about the benefits of functional mushrooms in 2020 and worked to become a Grassroots Mycologist. He created blends of functional mushrooms that used the benefits of the different types of fungi and lichens to their fullest extent, following the National Library of Medicines resources to determine the best blends to make. After moving back to Montana in 2024, with Jade, his K9 partner, he is now using his knowledge and experience to do what he loves and provide his tinctures to the local community. Dean also loves exploring the outdoors, and uses his adventures to wild forage the plants, lichens, and fungi he uses in his products. "Food is Nature's Medicine"-Dean Ferrera
